Mount Zion University is a non-profit distance learning university committed to give admission to higher education universally. According to UNESCO estimation, by the year 2025, nearly 100,000,000 young people will not be able to get chances to study in traditional universities. We know that world peace and global economic development is enhanced by education as a basic human right; MZU is devoted to providing those young people a high quality higher education that will aid them thrive not only in employment competition but also in life purpose discovery. 

Mount Zion University was founded in 2018 previously as Mount Zion Institute offering theological and Philosophical degrees. In 2021 the board of directors turned it to University offering more secular programs.
